2 - Tenant details

Are ALL tenants content ... email?

Normally leave this as yes to allow you to send documents by email.

If you set this to yes, you must also allow the tenant to serve documents on the landlord by email.

Tenants Email for Service of Documents

This is the only tenant email to be shown in the tenancy agreement. If there are multiple tenants, documents will be deemed served on them all if sent to this email address (although you can still copy the document to more emails).

Tenant Names

Up to 9 tenants can be added.

Add a tenant by clicking the ‘add’ button on the right. Remove one by using the remove button.

Full Name

Enter the full name including title and middle names of the tenant.

Email

This email will be used for remote signing.

If the tenancy is assured shorthold and a deposit scheme selected, this email will be inserted into the prescribed information And is legally required

Phone

The telephone of the tenant.

This field will only display if tenancy type equals assured shorthold tenancy and a deposit scheme has been selected.

The field must be filled in and is a legal requirement for the deposit prescribed information.

Fax

The fax number of the tenant.

This field will only display if tenancy type equals assured shorthold tenancy and a deposit scheme has been selected.

If the tenant has a fax, the field must be filled in and is a legal requirement for the deposit prescribed information.

Current Address

The ”current” address of the tenant. The address will be their actual address at the time of preparing the agreement. Therefore, it will not likely be the tenancy address unless you’re doing a renewal tenancy.

This field will only display if tenancy type equals assured shorthold tenancy and a deposit scheme has been selected.

The field must be filled in and is a legal requirement for the deposit prescribed information.

Post Tenancy Address

The address which should be used by the landlord or deposit scheme to contact the tenant ”after” the tenancy has ended.

This will normally be a family member or close friend’s address.

This field will only display if tenancy type equals assured shorthold tenancy and a deposit scheme has been selected.

The field must be filled in and is a legal requirement for the deposit prescribed information.
